Stylized Scales

This material was created for my Stylized Snake. Since the snake was going to be in a grassy garden from a top town perspective, I decided to go with a brighter green color with yellow highlights to make it stand out from its surroundings. Rather than go with a “fishy” uniform scale texture, I decided to create a random series of lumps to help make the snake pop and give it a more cartoony look and evoke a more joyful emotion from the viewer.
